International Women’s Day

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, it is an opportunity to reflect on how far we have come as a global community and how far we still need to go. We are grateful to all who have fought for women’s fundamental rights, including the right to access contraception and safe, legal abortion. We also understand the immense challenges ahead, especially in light of the COVD-19 pandemic where women have been impacted disproportionately. Those who continue to suffer the most are the most disadvantaged. On this day, we must recommit to accelerating the fight for equality and equity in all aspects of life, in this country and around the world. We must expand and intensify our individual and collective efforts to enable all women and girls around the world to exercise their sexual and reproductive rights and to gain access to the quality education and health care they deserve! LA LUCHA CONTINUA.
